We’re pleased to announce that the RTFHS publication The Family Tree of Woodfine Smith by RTFHS member Josephine Tombs has just been re-published with minor changes, after having been out-of-print for a while.
It includes information about the Romany community who had their home at Black Patch, Handsworth, near Birmingham, for many years – plus so much more about Woodfine’s descendants from the 1750s to about 1900, mainly in the English Midlands and North West.
See the other surnames that feature in the Family Tree and how to order the book on this page of our website.
The photo on the cover shows Henty Smith, the Queen of the Black Patch community.
