From 9 until 18 September 2022, Heritage Open Days give you the opportunity to join guided walks, hear talks and visit places that might not always be open to the public, all completely free.
To find out what’s on in your local area – or in the areas where your ancestors lived or travelled – visit the Heritage Open Days website and click on the ‘Visit’ tab.
As a relevant example for people with Romany, Traveller or Fairground ancestors, if you’re near Chesham in Buckinghamshire you have the chance to visit the fairground organ builders and restorers Kevin Meayer’s Fairground Organs.
