Did your Romany family have connections to the Bohemia Estate in Eastwood, Essex? Then please go along to this year’s meet-up for Bohemia Estate Descendants on Sunday 15 October 2023.
As usual it takes place at the St Laurence and All Saints Church Hall in Eastwoodbury Lane, Eastwood, Southend SS2 6UN, from 11am to 3pm. There’s a £2 entry charge. Refreshments are available. And there’ll be displays of family photos so please take yours and your family trees along too.
Parking at the hall is limited so it’s best to park at the nearby church and walk back. It’s a 5-minute walk away. And while at the church, take the opportunity to look at the many Romany graves there. You can easily spot them from the gate as they are usually covered with flowering plants and fresh bouquets.
