We’re holding our own “On the Road” family history event in Chesham in Buckinghamshire on Saturday 11 October 2025. It’s free and open to everyone, RTFHS members and non-members alike. Just drop in. There’s no booking required.
It’s at Chesham Town Hall in Parsonage Lane, Chesham HP5 1EP from 12 noon until 4.00pm. And there’ll be lots to see and do – such as:
• Displays, photos and information about Travelling people, both local and nationwide
• Local history information from the Chesham Museum team
• RTFHS family history research helpdesk and bookstall
• A team from the Buckinghamshire Family History Society
• Traditional fairground games – Roll the penny and more!

So please come along, bring your family and friends and tell us all about your Romany, Traveller, Fairground or Circus ancestors.
The venue is fully accessible. There’s free parking for Blue Badge holders on site. And Chesham Underground Station on the Metropolitan Line is an easy walk away.
