Ancestry have just announced that they are offering free access to their collection of more than 326 million World War 2 UK records from now until midnight on Sunday 13 September 2026. The offer marks the launch on 9 September 2026 of the film “Pressure” that tells the story of the D-Day landings in June 1944.
Available with the offer are such records as the 1939 Register for England and Wales and WW2 military service documents. Find out more from Ancestry here.
