A new online archive of Cornwall in photos and on film has just launched at Cornish Memory.
There are currently over 30,000 images on the free site dating back to the 1850s. They’ve been donated by amateur and professional photographers and more will be added over the next few months.
We’ve found quite a few photos of old fairground rides and traction engines at the fair in Redruth in the early 20th century. So if your people lived in or travelled in Cornwall, be sure to take a look.
