Find My Past have just released a collection of more than 10 million baptism, marriage and burial records from Roman Catholic churches across the 32 counties of Ireland, both north and south of the border. They are fully indexed by name and also give you the opportunity to view the original digitised images of the church registers themselves. The baptisms range from 1589 to 1916; marriages from 1635 to 1941; and burials from 1732 to 1915.
Find My Past say that they feel these new records are so important to Irish genealogy that they’ve decided to make them free to researchers forever. Read more about the new collection here.
