Nantwich Museum in Nantwich, Cheshire, is hosting a free exhibition from 26 November 2025 until 16 January 2026 called “The Atchin Tan Heritage Project: Celebrating the Romanichal Families of Sound Common”.
This exhibition follows the unveiling of a commemorative plaque on 6 October 2025 at Sound Common near Nantwich to honour the Romany families who lived there for generations until the 1960s.
The Atchin Tan Heritage Project is being led by the charity Pride of Romany and you can read more about the Project’s aims on their Instagram page or on their website
