RTFHS members Tony Dixon and Charlie and Kathleen Harris are taking their traditional vardos to the Chapleton Vintage Steam Rally, near Barnstaple, North Devon, on 27-28 June 2015.
Tony says: “We’ll be creating a ‘living exhibit’ of Traveller life roughly set between the Wars. With crafts, music and hopefully some stick yog cooking, we’re hoping to recreate a picture of a time gone by, and also promote better understanding of the way of life.”
You’ll find the Rally at Chapleton Barton on the A377 south of Barnstaple. The Sat Nav setting is EX37 9EB.
