If you’re interested in the famous Welsh Romany family the Woods, head to the Galeri Arts Centre next to Caernavon Castle in North Wales at 7.00pm on Wednesday 6 April 2016.
As part of this year’s Wales Harp Festival, Lord Thomas of Cresford will be giving a talk about his Wood ancestors – the “Teulu Abram Wood” – accompanied by a harpist. Lord Thomas is a descendant of Abram Wood’s grand-daughter, Black Ellen, who he describes as “the finest story teller and the most powerful witch of all the descendants.”
