A new book about British Gypsy Life called The Stopping Places by Damian Le Bas is being published on 7 June 2018.
Starting today – 4 June 2018 – the book is also BBC Radio 4’s Book of the Week. Hear readings from it every morning this week from 9.45am until 10am, from today until Friday, read by Damian himself. The programmes will also be available for ‘play back’ on the BBC’s iPlayer site.
Damian is a Romany Gypsy and journalist who may be known to some of you as the former Editor of Travellers’ Times.
