Essex Society for Family History Open Day – Chelmsford: RTFHS attending

Meet the RTFHS team at this free event on Saturday 20 October 2018, organised by the Essex Society for Family History.
We’ll be selling RTFHS publications and will be pleased to meet you and answer your family history questions. So please bring along your family information, family trees and photos.
We hear from the organisers that dress historian, portrait specialist, and internationally recognised photo expert, Jayne Shrimpton, will be giving a lecture at 11am on Dating Family Photographs covering the period 1840 to 1950. Additionally, during the afternoon Jayne will hold individual photo dating sessions of 10 minutes per person for anyone who would like to take up this service.
The Essex Society for Family History say that while they are not charging for entry to the event, donations will be much appreciated. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
